Biographies Index Plus
More than 46,000 biographies and obituaries and more than 20,000 photographs. Many of the articles come from H.W. Wilson's comprehensive reference tools such as Current Biography and the World Author Series. The biographies are searchable by name, profession, title, place of origin, gender, race/ethnicity and dates.

Directory of 11 million U.S. and Canadian businesses compiled from phone directories, SEC filings and other sources. Search results can be downloaded in a number of popular file formats for use with spreadsheets and database programs. Also includes a database of 120 million US residents. Library card holders can access this service from home!

Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps
A searchable interface for locating historical maps of Ohio towns and cities. These maps were digitized from micofilm copies of more than 40,035 maps created from 1876 to 1970 by the The Sanborn Insurance Company. Originally used for fire insurance records, these detailed maps identify individual buildings on each block.
